.......And Recession came about !!!!

There was an old man who sold hot dogs, to earn living for him and his little son. He was illiterate so he never read the newspapers. he was very hardworking and dedicated towards his business so he had no time for the TV and Radio. So he kept his mind on his business and earned his living.
Soon his hard work started paying. His sale grew. He increased his orders, sold more and grew fairly rich. He moved into a good apartment, put his son into school and rented a bigger space for business. His business kept growing and he had to hire some staff to manage it.He was happy and content !

Meanwhile his son became a learned young man. One day he went up to his father and asked him if he was aware of the nation's economic crisis. The father said he wasn't. The son told him that the nation was in middle of an economic breakdown and there were dark times ahead.
"May be you should watch the Tv, and listen to the radio sometimes Dad !", he added.

The old man bought a TV and a radio. While at work he listened to the radio and watched TV at home. They spoke of the economic gloom in the country and of the difficult times ahead!

The old man grew worried. He asked his educated son about the situation and the son said,"We may better save up for times ahead, Dad!"

The old man did likewise. He cut down his orders. He shrunk his business space. He reduced the staff. He put all the money he saved from the shrunk rents and shrunk payouts in his bank.

His business also started shrinking.Soon he wasn't making much lesser profits.

He then went to his son and said, " Son you were right! There were indeed these times ahead! I am glad you warned me ahead of time, I have some money in the bank to sustain us. But the TV and Radio say these situations are going to prevail, so we must cut down our expenses at home as well."

And the father and the son moved into a smaller house, and sold all unnecessary stuff.....

Very soon their bank balances ran out. And then one day they sold away the TV and Radio to buy their food !!!
